Story Time and Craft with Mem Fox

Mem Fox is one of Australia’s most beloved children’s authors, helping to raise generations of Australian children with over 40 books, many of which have become international best-sellers.  Her first book, Possum Magic, is still being read after 39 years, and her book, Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes, was Australia’s official gift to Prince George, the royal baby.

Story Time & Craft
Join Mem Fox as she reads her children’s books Where is the Green Sheep?, Time for Bed, Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes, and The Magic Hat. After listening to Mem read her books, join in a fun craft activity provided by Library staff. 

At the conclusion of the session, join us for the launch of our brand new Kids Library Card! Designed by illustrator, Danielle McDonald, to match her beautiful mural in the Library. Our junior Library members will be able to take home their very own Kids Library Card shortly after BookFest.

For ages 3-6 years. Parents are required to stay.

Mem will be available for book signings at the Yass Book Store stand in the Library from 11am-11.30am and 3pm-3.30pm.
