Event description
Join author Shel Sweeney for a series of masterclasses where students will learn and experiment with a range of
creative writing techniques and genres. Classes are designed to be fun and celebrate the joy of
storytelling. This senior masterclass is suitable school years 6-12.
Students gain confidence in writing and work towards an end of year story. The groups' stories will be compiled and published in a
printed Anthology. Each student will receive one copy at year-end as part of the program, additional copies are available for purchase. If you would like extra copies for a family member, school library or friend, simply add your order to the cart during registration. Â
This is a FREE annual program of 5 x sessions per
term, presented by Byron Writers Festival. Registration essential.
