Join friends of Funeral Sunshine Coast and Regions Queensland to hear inspiring and tragic stories as we explore Woombye Cemetery.
There will be an opportunity to visit the dedicated War Graves section within the cemetery.
Bring a hat, water and sunscreen.
Please wear sturdy walking shoes.
An emerging local artist and author has created a limited edition coffee mug adding a hand-drawn sketch of the Avenue of Honour at the entrance to Woombye Cemetery.
The trees make an impressive entrance but we are concerned about their health as they age, and how we should care for them so they remain strong for many years to come.
