What are you up to on Thursday 22 October in Wagga Wagga?

Please join us for a special night of stories, short films, culture and connection — to celebrate and discover the extraordinary stories we all have. As well as hearing powerful and unexpected stories brought to life by actors, we're inviting the whole community to take part with an Open Mic section of the evening.

Expect stories that will make you laugh, think, remember and see the world from a different perspective.

🎤 LIVE STORYTELLING
Join in a special Storytelling Night celebrating the voices and experiences of women from across Wagga Wagga. Hear powerful and unexpected stories brought to life through live readings by powerful performers, sharing memories, journeys, moments of connection and the things that matter most.

Feel like telling your own story? Take the open mic. Share a memory, celebrate your culture, challenge a label, reclaim your narrative — or simply say something that matters to you.

Arrive and register in person at 6.30pm. Strictly 2 minutes each reading. Registrations close 7pm.

Places are limited.

🌏 PROGRAM LAUNCH: THE CROSSING PLACE

As part of AUSART Day, we’re launching The Crossing Place — a new program bringing people together through storytelling, creativity and connection, and the development of a new devised work in 2027. 

*Free to attend and participate, with a “Pay As You Like” donation option for those who wish to support the work we do.
