Storytelling with Talia Levy September 25th Byron Seniors Club
Event description
Storytelling with Talia Levy
Presented by Byron Seniors Club
🎟 Free for locals aged 55+ | Bookings essential
Join us for a new creative and imaginative storytelling series guided by the talented Talia Levy — a gifted local storyteller, mentor, and educator who brings the timeless magic of story to life.
During our storytelling sessions we will be working with techniques and skills to grow your confidence and ability to turn your life experiences into engaging stories.
The sessions are interactive and participatory. There are opportunities for sharing your stories, listening to others, and remembering stories that lay hidden in the back of your memory.
All of this happens in an inclusive, relaxed and joyful environment!
Each session may include:
A storytelling performance by Talia
Group discussion and reflections
Gentle invitations to explore your own stories through biographical and creative prompts
Plenty of time for listening, sharing, and remembering
Tea and coffee provided
Expect a small group (approx 8-10 people) and a relaxed, inclusive space — where all stories, and all storytellers, are welcome.
All sessions take place at the Byron Community Centre. Some will be held in the Byron Theatre and others upstairs in the Wategos Room. Reception staff will let you know where to go when you arrive.
