Storytime in the Gallery - Dec 20
Event description
Join us for storytime in the gallery in partnership with the Pomona Public Library! Children will enjoy a story and complimentary age-appropriate art activity while viewing AMOCA's latest gallery exhibit, In their Hands: the Evolution of Mata Ortiz Pottery.
This month we're reading "The Pot that Juan Built" by Nancy Andrews-Goebel and David Diaz. Guests will get to learn more about the Mata Ortiz pottery community and create a simple, fun art project that kids will love.
Registration includes admission to the museum Saturday, December 20.
Storytime in the Gallery is geared towards children ages 2-8, but all are welcome to participate in the art activity. Caregivers must be present.
The story portion of the program is free, with a materials fee for guests ages 4+ to participate in the art activity. Space is limited and registration is required. Please register each child and caregiver individually.
