Event description

To celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week) the Ashburton Library and Keep Learning Mid Canterbury have teamed up to offer a Storytime session aimed at preschool and young primary age children and their parents/ caregivers.

Come along with your tamariki and learn some Māori language through stories and songs at the Library!

Led by te reo Māori teacher Kate White, the event is free and open to people of all cultures. No prior Māori language knowledge is necessary.

Registering gives us an idea of numbers, but you can also just pop in on the day. We will be in the children's library, in the Pioneer Hall area.

Celebrate the 50th year of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori with us!
