Join us this summer for Storytime Tuesdays — a special morning program designed for young learners and their families.

Each Tuesday in July and August, children will enjoy a themed story reading followed by a vintage trolley ride along our historic Branford Electric Railway. The experience blends early literacy, imagination, and transportation history in a setting unlike any other.

Each session lasts approximately one hour. Please arrive a few minutes early, as programs begin promptly. Designed with young children’s schedules in mind, morning sessions conclude in time for lunch and afternoon naps.

What’s Included

• Live story reading
• Scenic trolley ride
• Light snack and drink
• A take-home copy of the featured book for each child

Space is limited to maintain a comfortable, engaging experience for families.

2026 Theme: Innovation & Ingenuity

This year’s Storytime series connects with our museum-wide theme celebrating innovation, engineering, creativity, and how transportation shaped daily life. Weekly book selections explore science, problem-solving, nature, invention, and community — helping children discover how ideas move the world forward.
