About Deirdre Ryan – Managing Director

Deirdre brings over 30 years of experience in senior leadership, coaching, and facilitation within central and local government, education, parks and recreation, and social services. With her first-hand experience of leadership through the response and recovery phases of the Canterbury and Kaikoura earthquakes, Deirdre is a specialist in leading teams through uncertainty.

Despite not growing up in an equestrian family, Deirdre has always sought out spending time with horses since a young age. As an approved Eagala provider (Equine Assisted Learning and Growth Association), member of the ICF (International Coaching Federation), and currently undertaking further study with the international Equusoma programme, Deirdre merges this lifetime connection with horses with her passion for experiential learning, training, and leadership coaching.

About Hayley Milne – Learning and Development Advisor

Hayley draws on her experience in corporate learning and development program design to inform the approach of each Salta Horses workshop. Having the personal lens from being on both sides of the process as an L&D client and a provider, she breaks down barriers for those new to Equine assisted learning, helping engage corporate learner groups and support them to step out of the office and into the arena.
