Strambolica Vol. 6: The return of the Bassman
Event description
Stories are told of a sea creature known as the Bassman or simply the Fish, capable of creating submarine sounds with his bass guitar, able to make other aquatic organism dance as it migrates through the southern oceans.
In his absence along the shores of Christchurch, The Golden Serpent has consolidated her nest at the Embankment Tavern, surrounded by plants. Now, it is worshipped by its victims, who call themselves "Las Culebras".
At this very moment, The Bassman swims back to New Zealand shores to reclaim his adepts stolen by the serpent. Get prepared for a battle of monstrous rhythmic proportions, it will be up to you to decide whether to join the worshippers of the Fish or the Serpent.
Join us in this new volume of Strambolica party. In this edition, we will have the return of The Bassman, along with live music and the hypnotic rhythm of psych-cumbia and other South American electronic sounds by Djeira and Vic Lo, supported by psychedelic liquid light visuals.
