Formally New Norfolk Distillery, this Tasmanian distillery based in the Derwent Valley are still creating their rums and cane spirits on-site in New Norfolk, by the same passionate team.
The distilling facility and cellar door is located within Willow Court, a former hospital and asylum complex of deep historical significance to the Derwent Valley region. The town of New Norfolk, where the family lives, is only half an hour's drive from Tasmania's capital city, Hobart.
Since 2019, New Norfolk Distillery have made their own ferments (predominantly molasses based), and distilled, bottled and aged their spirits on site. Since then, they’ve gone onto clean up at various awards across Australia and Internationally.
