Please come along to a lunchtime session exploring the issues with using strategic models to inform planning, and what alternatives there are for 'vision and validate'. There will be a series of three presentations followed by a panel discussion, featuring:
- Prof. David Levison from the University of Sydney, talking about his recent blog post, Fantasy Modelling
- Sarah Brickhill, Senior Transport Planner at City of Sydney, talking about a post-opening evaluation of a traffic model
- Daniel Veryard, VLC State Director for NSW and WA, talking about using strategic modelling in a vision-led way
