Description
The current “might is right” conflicts that are raging are making everyone less secure. Global threats, including that of nuclear war, persist. How can we Australians help promote new forms of collaborative leadership that recognise our global interdependence? How can we hasten the abandonment of dangerous developments such as AUKUS?

Dr Paula Gutlove is a speaker, teacher, and consultant on negotiation, leadership, and conflict management, and has worked with academic, business, government, and non-government organizations. She is the Deputy Director of the Institute for Resources and Security Studies (IRSS) in the US, and was the founding executive director of the Center for Psychology and Social Change at Harvard Medical School, and the founding board chair of the International Alliance for Peacebuilding.
Dr Gordon Thompson is executive director of IRSS and a senior research scientist at Clark University, with expertise relating to sustainability and global human security. He studied engineering at the University of NSW and was a fellow at the ANU Peace Research Centre in 1989. He has worked with many organisations including citizen groups, governments, foundations, universities, the World Bank and WHO.

Sakshi Sethi
Sakshi Sethi is a policy and risk specialist, peacebuilder, and researcher with 13 years in the Australian Government and a Master’s in Peace Studies & Conflict Resolution from The American University of Rome. Her work bridges governance and global risk with humanitarian values, community dialogue, and cross-cultural understanding.
Melanie Morrison
Melanie is the Executive Director of the Sydney Peace Foundation and a human rights, peace and climate justice advocate with extensive leadership experience in partnerships, strategy, communications and program development.
