Strathfield Council Seniors Festival 2025 ‘Time to Shine’: Guided Wetlands Walk

Join us to celebrate this year's Seniors Festival and explore this special wetland, home to many different bird and animal species. In collaboration with Friends of Mason Park Wetland (FOMPW), an experienced FOMPW guide will educate you about the wetland’s history, bird species, how the wetland habitat supports them and much more. This guided walk is designed to connect older people in the community.
Registration is essential due to limited availability.

Time: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Location: Mason Park Wetlands
Limited to: 20 participants
Meeting point: At the far end of Mason Park Wetland carpark, which runs off Underwood Road. Participants will be given a flyer to place on their vehicle dashboards to avoid parking fines.
Please wear a hat, enclosed shoes, bring a water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray. In case of rain, the event will be cancelled, but a brief shower or light drizzle won’t stop us. Hope to see you there!
