Streaky Bay Area School - 150 years Celebration Weekend

The Streaky Bay Area School will celebrate its 150th Anniversary in 2022.

Streaky Bay Area School is celebrating its 150th Anniversary in 2022 and is holding a 150th Celebration event from Friday 28th October to Sunday 30th October.
This achievement will be celebrated with special events and other opportunities to connect throughout the weekend.
We invite all past and present staff, students and members of the Streaky Bay Area School community to join us in celebrating this significant achievement, as you are all a part of our rich history.

Special events will be happening across the three days!

Friday 28th
- The Streaky Bay Area School will be holding a free School Showcase afternoon, 12.30 pm – 2.30 pm on Friday 28th of October where there will be a short opening of the new Arts/Stem    Centre and all classes will be holding stalls/events exhibiting their learning, this is open to all parents, community members and visitors.
- A 150th Celebration Dinner (3-course meal, $65pp tickets plus booking fee, includes 150th wine glass) will then occur on Friday evening at the school. 
  The 150th Celebration Dinner is open to old scholars, parents and community members, a band and bar facility will be available, and tickets can be purchased online through this website.

Other events:

- The Streaky Bay Museum will be open 10 am – 4 pm, admission: $7pp
- The Streaky Bay Powerhouse Museum will be open 11 am – 4 pm, admission: donation ($5 minimum)

Saturday 29th
- Saturday morning, the Streaky Bay Thrive Group will be conducting its annual Fun Run along the Streaky Bay foreshore. 10km walkers 7.30 start, 8.00 am start everyone else.

- Saturday afternoon the Streaky Bay Area School will be open for guided tours, providing meeting places for any class reunions and afternoon tea will be available.
- Saturday evening the Streaky Bay Hotel will be open for dinner service, 6 pm – 8.30 pm, bookings 8626 1008.
- The Streaky Bay Sports Complex will be open for dinner service, bar open 6 pm, dinner 6.30 pm – 8 pm bookings 8626 1389.

Sunday 30th
- Sunday afternoon the Streaky Bay Instep Dance Group will be holding two performances, midday and 4 pm, tickets are not yet available online or in Streaky shops.
  Ticket sales info will be released on the 150th Facebook event page when available.
