Stream to Style

Join trashion artist Rebekah Fraser, costume designer Soule Golden, and Hamden recycling coordinator Joe Derisi to clean the stream, then embellish your old clothes with the litter we find.

No experience necessary.

Kids under age 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Registration Required for each individual. Please do not register multiple people as one name.

UPDATE: Great news! There's not enough litter at Brooksvale Park to clean, so we'll meet at Hamden Middle School instead, pick up litter along the stream there, then caravan to Veteran's Memorial Hall at Brooksvale for lunch and the workshop.

BRING:

1. YOUR OWN LUNCH. We will have extra bottled water for those who need it.

2. An old garment or two that you'd like to embellish with litter.

3. *optional: If you sew, bring a needle and thread.
