    Event description

Now on Sunday because of the wet weather

Presented by Canberra by Bike and Pedal Power ACT.

    Street art ✅

    Meandering bike paths ✅

A butcher who loves street art so much, he commissioned an artist to paint his roller door 🤯

Come and see some of the massive works in Braddon created during Surface Festival in March 2022, such as this minotaur by Houl. You'll also see recent and not so recent works in Dickson, Lyneham, O'Connor, and Civic. Learn what happened when Phil the butcher met local street artist Eddie Mowat, hear Eddie explain some of his works and those of his friends, and buy local art.

    The route is here.

You will see colourful creations by local and visiting artists including Bohie, Eddie, Phibs, Peque, Paw, Claire Foxton, Soroe, Houl, and more.

This is all about the pleasure of a leisurely ride, and how art can transform mundane structures, like the side of a grey, eight-storey apartment building, a toilet block, or traffic light transformer box, into beautiful works you want to photograph & share.

Please bring sunglasses, sunscreen, water, your camera, and a bike lock if you decide to go to a cafe after the ride.
