Street Art Mastery – From Sketch to Spray

Important: This is a 2-part series workshop, and participants need to enrol in both sessions.
WORKSHOP #1: In-Class Foundation Session
Date: Wednesday, 16th April, 10am-2pm
Get your creative juices flowing with our dynamic street art workshop, designed for beginners and those looking to level up their skills. Learn essential design principles, letter construction, character design, and abstract techniques. Progress to illustrative drawing with Posca paint pens and transfer your vision on to a prepared empty aerosol can, to take home. Experience the fundamental principles of street art in a controlled environment.
WORKSHOP #2: On-Site Aerosol Session
Date: Wednesday, 23rd April, 10am-2pm
Take your skills to the next level with hands-on aerosol practice. Learn safety basics, spray painting techniques, and can control through a colour-by-number approach on a small prepared design to take home and keep. Discover different caps and techniques for creating large-scale murals.

- Lunch provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

- Age: 12–24-year-olds
- Booking required for both sessions.
- Exact Location: Shelter next to the jump track, look out for the carpark on Norman Street, Concord.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sam is an aerosol artist from Sydney's western suburbs with over two decades of experience. His journey from collaborating with street and graffiti artists to leading transformative art workshops has made him a seasoned artist and youth worker. Check out Sam's unique illustrative works here. His workshops implemented across Sydney councils, private corporations, and educational institutions, combine his artistic expertise with his youth work background, making art accessible and engaging.
