Locked in for the evening of Friday October 18th, this annual Streetwork fundraiser is the single biggest event on the Streetwork calendar, so book your seat or table NOW to avoid disappointment.
- Friday 18th October 6.30-11pm
- North Leagues (in Cammeray)
- Glam it up or Grunge it down (e.g. a glittering tiara with a pair of ripped jeans or a tux on top with boardie's below)
- $170pp or $1600 for a table of ten
Putting the FUN into FUNdraising (see pics from last year’s event here) with celebrity compere Susie Elelman AM JP as your personal guide for an evening that sees local band The Burn warm your dancing heart and feet up before the main event - Celebrating Countdown - take the stage to pump out your favourite hits from the 70s and 80s.
The Celebrating Countdown rap-sheet includes some of Australia’s premier artists, including:
- Paul Field (The Cockroaches, The Wiggles) and Dave Wilkins (Wrecking Crew, Spy vs Spy, Russell Crowe’s 30 Odd Foot of Grunt) and Bronwyn Mulcahy (INXS, David Essex, Kate Ceberano) on vocals
- Zoltan John Budai (Richard Clapton, Mental as Anything, Brian Cadd) is on bass guitar with Brent Dehn (The Radiators, Wrecking Crew, For the Love of Purple) on lead guitar, Paul Najar (Wa Wa Nee, Jenny Morris, James Reyne) on keyboards and Gordon Rytmeister (Leo Sayer, Glenn Shorrock, Tina Arena, Jimmy Barnes) on drums
