Build strength at any age with a program tailored to you. It’s never too late to feel stronger and improve your health, wellbeing and quality of life.
Strength for Life Stay Strong is a safe, individualised strength and balance exercise program designed to help people aged 50+ improve fitness, strength, balance and confidence (40+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people or people from refugee backgrounds).
Delivered by a qualified fitness professional, your accredited instructor will create a personalised exercise program based on your goals, abilities and health needs. Stay active, feel strong, move with confidence and enjoy the social benefits of exercising in a supportive community environment.
Location:
Enfield Community Centre
540 Regency Road, Enfield
Session Times:
• Tuesdays: 9.30am – 10.30am
• Fridays: 10.00am – 11.00am
Costs:
• One-off assessment fee: $50 (paid directly to the instructor)
• Casual session: $8 per visit
• Special offer: 6-session card for $40
Getting Started:
Please complete an enrolment form, pre-activity questionnaire and, if required, a medical referral form before commencing the program.
Enrolment forms can be collected from Enfield Community Centre or requested via email at monique.williams@cityofpae.sa.gov.au.
Once your paperwork has been completed, please contact Monique on 8405 6556. An appointment will then be arranged with the program instructor for your individual 1-hour exercise assessment.
