How can aged care organisations be supported to build on their strengths and consistently meet the essential needs of older people?
Join us for a thought-provoking webinar designed for aged care professionals and leaders committed to enriching care quality. We’ll introduce relationship-centred fundamental care – an evidence-informed approach that nurtures meaningful connections and enhances the lived experience of older people. Through the Fundamentals of Care Framework, we’ll explore how aged care organisations can establish and reinforce a strong foundation for consistent, relationship-centred care that places the older person and their needs at the heart of care delivery.
Learn how relationship-centred fundamental care can help your organisation:
Ensure essential or fundamental needs—like respect, mobility, hygiene, and communication - are met at a consistently high standard
Strengthen relationships between staff and residents
Align with the Aged Care Quality Standards and new legislative reforms
Hear about innovative tools already making a difference, including:
Digital training modules specifically designed for the aged care sector that support relationship-centred fundamental care delivery and staff wellbeing
My Wellbeing Journal, a journal created in collaboration with consumers, carers, and clinicians, which empowers people to take an active role in managing their health by setting meaningful goals, documenting care preferences, and improving communication with healthcare teams
A Fundamentals of Care Assessment Tool, helping organisations and providers receive real-time feedback on their fundamental care delivery
This session isn’t just about learning - it’s about imagining what’s possible in your organisation. We invite you to consider how relationship-centred fundamental care could be implemented in your organisation, and to explore opportunities for collaboration as we co-create tools and strategies that bring relationship-centred care to life.
