4 Week Stress & Anxiety Management Course
Event description
Presented by Optimal Health Hub, this four-week course is designed to provide education and strategies for coping with stress and managing anxiety. It does this by firstly providing insights into how the body and mind react to stress and how anxiety becomes a dominating experience. Putting this knowledge into practical use, the course demonstrates strategies designed to reduce stress and lessen anxiety. To further help with combating stress and anxiety, the course draws a distinction between short-term stress and longer-term anxiety and demonstrates how short-term strategies can work with long-term strategies to create a calmness that allows a higher level of functioning.
The course content is based on extensive research in neurobiology, psychology, and psychotherapy. It contains a presentation with easy-to-understand content, videos, practical demonstrations, and time for discussion. The aim of the course is to arm you with a toolkit for addressing stress and anxiety while showing you pathways for continual development.
