String and Nail Whetu, Te Oro Music and Arts Centre, Thursday 11 July, 1pm - 3pm

In this fun workshop, kids will learn a very seventies craft that is making a comeback... string and nail art! And in this Matariki class, we will be making whetu! (stars).

We will be painting, hammering and then weaving string between the nails to make shapes and patterns. This is a great class to help children learn how to use a hammer!
