The Music
Concordia will present a varied programme of music from around the world, ranging from classical favourites to lighter and more contemporary works. Expect beautiful melodies, lively rhythms and the wonderfully distinctive sound of a mandolin orchestra. Whether you are a regular Concordia audience member or have never heard a mandolin orchestra before, Strings by the Sea promises an enjoyable afternoon of music in a beautiful coastal setting.
About Concordia
Concordia Mandolin and Guitar Ensemble is a Melbourne-based community orchestra performing music for mandolin, mandola, guitar and other plucked-string instruments. Founded in 1978, Concordia has been bringing this distinctive and often surprising repertoire to audiences for almost 50 years.
