Strings in Spring III: Fire & Folksong
Description
David Pereira presents Strings in Spring III: Fire & Folksong
Strings in Spring III brings to the vibrant acoustic at the Chapel ACC&C in Barton a recital of Magyar inspired music for cellos, violin and piano – Hungarian cello/piano rhapsodies by Béla Bartók and Popper, big piano solo (Funerailles) by Fránz Liszt, Ruralia Hungarica by Ernő Dohnányi, a Johannes Brahms trio slow movement, and more... much to enjoy!
I'm so glad to be joined by awesome piano artist – Edward Neeman, new star on cello – Eloise Ng, and for an amazing cameo appearance in Brahms – Tor Fromyhr, a legendary Australian violinist, teacher, colleague and friend.
Again I say, please join us and make us play great!
Éljen a Magyar!
