A Parent Thread program, powered by Strong Dads Geelong
A 6-week program for expecting and new dads to connect, share experiences, and build confidence in early fatherhood. Each week blends conversation, hands-on activities, and insights from guest speakers, giving dads practical tools, support, and a sense of community for the journey ahead.

When: Thursdays, 6pm - 8 pm
Dates: November 6 - December 11 (6 weeks)
Where: Torquay Community House
Cost: $27 per session (6-week program, $162 total + booking fee)

Hey, I’m Si (rhymes with hi). I’m a dad and the founder of Strong Dads Geelong. I work as a dad’s nurse and program facilitator, and I’m passionate about helping dads feel more confident, connected, and supported through the early stages of fatherhood

Life happens. Come back the next session.
Is this only for first-time dads?
Nope! All expectant and new dads are welcome.
Can my partner attend?
This program is designed for dads, but the tools and conversations will support your whole family.
Can I bring my child?
We recommend coming solo to focus fully, but if you need to bring a young baby, that’s okay.
