Event description

I know everyone keeps saying it but wow...what a year.

Despite it all, our little dance studio has beat the odds and survived and it couldn't have been possible without our dedicated, wonderful students. That's why this year's concert is themed 'Stronger Together'.

Come and be entertained, amused and delighted by a variety of high energy, pumping dance performances including reggaeton, dancehall, afro beats, Brazilian funk, cheeky chair, samba and much, much more!

Plus performances from our professional dance crews: the Glamourosas (Brazilian samba), Queenz (hip hop and dancehall) and the Vaudevixens (cabaret and burlesque).

Subsdance Dance Studio is located in Canberra ACT in the suburb of Kingston. Subdance provides a safe space and empowers its dancers in finding their “something”. That might be a newfound confidence, new skills, a new circle of friends, a dance family or a new, welcoming community. Fundamentally, we seek to improve lives and better the world one person at a time. We are proud and passionate in our love of dance and performing arts and strive to maintain a standard of excellence in our teaching, entertainment, and knowledge. We above all believe in the importance of integrity, genuine authenticity and personal growth. We seek to facilitate opportunity for positive experiences in these areas for our staff and dancers. We believe diversity should be celebrated. We encourage people to be individuals, have opinions and welcome people from every background because we believe that we are ALL equals.
