Stronger, Calmer, More You

A practical wellness workshop for women navigating midlife changes in energy, strength, sleep and stress.

Does exercise feel different than it used to? Are you working hard but finding that your energy, sleep, strength or ability to manage stress has changed?

Join Ana Lopes and Michelle Vianna for a welcoming, hands-on morning in Little Bay, Sydney.

Together, we’ll explore practical ways to adapt your exercise, support your wellbeing and navigate the physical, mental and emotional changes that can come with midlife.

This is more than a conversation. You’ll move, learn, breathe, reflect and connect with other women who may be experiencing similar changes.

What to expect

Move with Ana

Ana Lopes, Women’s Health & Performance Mentor and personal trainer, will talk about how exercise can be adapted during midlife, helping you continue working towards your goals while respecting what your body needs now.

Ana will then lead a 30-minute class combining:

Warm-up
Mobility
Cardio
Strength

The movement class is an integral part of the workshop, so please book if you feel comfortable participating in exercise. Different options will be offered, allowing you to work at your own pace.

A welcoming space to talk about what’s changing

We’ll create a supportive space to discuss some of the physical, mental and emotional challenges women may experience during midlife.

Together, we’ll explore practical ways to navigate changes in energy, sleep, strength, stress and emotional wellbeing.

You’ll be able to submit a question anonymously through our question box, join the conversation if you feel comfortable or simply listen. There is no pressure to share.

Leave with a calming practice

Michelle Vianna, Holistic Therapist, Coach and Bodyworker, will introduce a heart coherence breathing practice designed to help you move from worry and tension towards greater calm.

You’ll learn evidence-informed techniques to support stress management, emotional balance and a deeper connection with yourself.

Michelle will close the workshop with a guided meditation, giving you a practical breathing and meditation practice that you can continue using in your everyday life.

What you’ll take home

You’ll leave the workshop with:

Exercise ideas to consider during midlife
Practical ways to support your energy, strength and wellbeing
A calming breathing and meditation practice
A greater understanding of the changes you may be experiencing
The reassurance of hearing from other women navigating similar challenges

Most importantly, you’ll leave feeling supported, informed and reminded that you don’t have to navigate this season alone.

Important information

This is a general wellness and exercise workshop. We’ll discuss shared experiences and general strategies rather than assess individual symptoms or provide personalised medical advice.

The workshop is not a substitute for medical assessment, diagnosis, advice or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

Come as you are and leave feeling stronger, calmer and more connected to yourself.

Supporting Cancer Council

This October, our event is also supporting Cancer Council and its work in cancer research, prevention and support. Alongside exploring perimenopause, women’s health and wellbeing, we’ll also take a moment to raise awareness around breast cancer and the importance of looking after our health at every stage of life.

Your ticket supports the event, and if you’d like to contribute a little more, you can make an additional donation through our Cancer Council fundraising page here: https://www.doitforcancer.com.au/fundraisers/analopes/woman--s-wellness-event

Every contribution, big or small, helps support this important cause.
