Stronger Communities - Modern Day Committee Management and Constitutions

Committees play an important role in developing and implementing a structured system of administration and management to support their organisation's activities and operations. This workshop provides committee members with the latest information to assist them in their role and covers recent changes to incorporation legislation in Queensland and what this means for community organisation constitutions. The session provides information on the roles and responsibilities of committee members, incorporation and Office of Fair Trading (OFT) requirements, legal and governance information and how to update the constitution of an incorporated association.
