Structural Drawing

CREATIVE LABS WORKSHOPS:

ages 6 and older

This is a beginners workshop on Structural Drawing where participants will learn how to draw using basic drawing principles and skills to create a drawing from observation. Our instructor, Emily Gray, will guide participants through the process and then allow individuals to create drawings at their own pace. This process is fairly easy and simple to learn for any age group or skill level.

Structural drawing is a simple and fun activity. Each drawing will be uniquely different and you'll see improvement with each drawing. Drawings will be made using the interior structure of the WaterFire Arts Center building and will provide participants with the confidence to continue observational drawing in their own time!

Lean into this detailed yet unique process where no mistakes can happen! Participants will leave the workshop with 2-3 drawings they have made. 

**Materials are provided but bring a sketchbook or any materials you feel inspired to!

The workshop is free and open to all but space is limited.
