Event description
Strum, Strike and Blow will feature over 1200 students performing on marimbas, ukuleles and recorders from schools from around the Canterbury region. Accompanied by an expert band of professional musicians including vocalist Julian Hay from Voices Co. Featuring special guests - Pandemonium percussion group and Music with Michal.
The Festival is run by Music Education Canterbury and Christchurch Civic Music Council and is in its 12th year and is held in the Wolfbrook Arena (formerly Christchurch Arena).
