Strum, Strike and Blow will feature around 1,500 students performing on marimbas, ukuleles and recorders from schools from around the Canterbury region. Accompanied by an expert band of professional musicians.

The Festival is run by Music Education Canterbury in collaboration with the Christchurch Civic Music Council and is in its 13th year and is held in the Wolfbrook Arena.
