Stuart Joel Nuggett and his family are some of the last speakers of Jingulu - a severely endangered language from the Kulumindini (Elliott) region. Performing in both Jingulu and English, Stuart is passionate about the plight of his people and hopes that through his songs he can connect with audiences from all walks of life.
Under the banner of 'The Jingili Song Project' Stu has teamed up with David Garnham & the Reasons to Live and will be touring the NT for gigs, and giving workshops in schools and on community, to coincide with the release of the new single 'Ilbingini (when the water goes down)'
