Young people in Years 10-13 invited to be part of Future Anything’s Student Adventure at _SOUTHSTART VILLAGE 2024. 

Embark on a sprawling land of discovery at the Garden of Unearthly Delights; an "unconference" experience with 6+ stages featuring innovative and engaging programming. 

_SOUTHSTART VILLAGE 2024 offers an intellectual and emotional adventure, a landscape of endless possibilities where every corner presents a new opportunity for exploration. 

Future Anything will curate a bespoke journey for school-age innovators in Years 10-13 through the extensive program of masterclasses, think tanks, pitching sessions, plus founder, investor and & student-led conversations. 

Dedicated opening and closing sessions for student participants will be facilitated by Future Anything's experienced school educators, ensuring students are set up to get the most from the day.

Who should attend:

  • School groups of students in Years 10-13. Students may not attend individually. 
  • IMPORTANT: Every 10 students must be accompanied by (minimum) 1 teacher  - these teachers will be required to actively supervise and accompany their students at all times throughout the day.

Outline Agenda

  • 8am - 8.45am ACDT: Schools arrive & register 
  • 9am PROMPT - 10am : Future Anything opening student session 
  • 10am - 2.00pm  - students take a curated journey through _SOUTHSTART VILLAGE 2024 (details will be announced in early 2024!
  • 2.00pm - 2.30pm PROMPT - Future Anything closing student session

Transport

Participating schools must organise/manage the transport requirements for students and supervising staff/parents attending the event.

Catering

  • Catering is included in the ticket price. 
  • All students should bring their own refillable water bottle. 

Permissions, Supervision & Risk Management 
The event will be filmed and photographed. It is compulsory for all students to have a caregiver complete Future Anything's media permission form (form will be emailed on registration). 

  • Every 10 students must be accompanied by (minimum) 1 teacher  - teachers will be required to actively supervise and accompany their students at all times throughout the day.
    Due to the variability of schools’ risk management requirements and processes, Future Anything does not provide a standard risk assessment Schools are required to comply with their own school’s risk management policies

What Students Need to Bring:

  • Their own refillable water bottle
  • Students are required to wear their school uniform
  • Enthusiasm, an open mind, and a willingness to engage with others.
