Students as Partners Program Showcase
Description
Join us to celebrate the achievements of the 2026 Students as Partners Project Grants Program and hear from Student Partners about the projects they have led to improve the UTS student experience.
Addressing topics such as improving feedback processes, providing tailored career support for international students, and responding to gender-based microaggressions in classrooms, this year's presentations will offer valuable insights into the issues affecting current UTS students. Student Partners will also share the resources, initiatives, and recommendations they have developed throughout the program to drive ongoing institutional change.
Alongside student presentations, attendees will hear updates on the implementation and impact of past projects, reflections from Prof. Kylie Readman on the importance of student-staff partnerships, and have opportunities to network with program participants and colleagues across the university.

About the Program
The Students as Partners Project Grants Program is a Student Services and Amenities Fees (SSAF) funded initiative delivered by UTS Library, which empowers students as change agents to actively improve the university experience for themselves and their peers.
In the program, students receive funding to lead 7-month seed projects (eg. a prototype or recommendations report) in key areas of focus, working in collaboration with UTS staff to create new ideas through the combination of lived experience, access to student networks, institutional knowledge and subject matter expertise. Through partnership, these projects enable the student voice to meaningfully enhance the experience of students through collaboration, innovation and inclusive practice.
