Studio gives new Western Australian composers the opportunity to work with us to present newly written pieces for unaccompanied choir.

The 2021 Studio program will see applicants writing pieces for consort, to be performed and recorded by Vanguard Consort at a public performance.

Please take note that this is an 18+ only event.

Where is the venue?
Whipper Snapper Distillery is at 139 Kensington Street, East Perth. Yes, it's an actual, working distillery!

Can I pick my seat?
No, as Seating at is unreserved. Patrons will be able to access the seating from 4:30pm but will not have access prior to this time.

Do I need a cushion?
If you'd like to bring a cushion, you are welcome to.

Will there be an interval?
Not a lengthy one, but there will be a short break that will give you a bit of time to stand, stretch and have a quick chat.

A Note on COVID-19
Voyces will employ all Government advice to ensure the safety of our performers, audience and staff. This may mean that entry to the venue may be staged in order to comply with the State Government's 2 sqm rule.
