Description
Join artists Lucy Allinson and Samantha Taylor for a facilitated conversation and critique of studio practice, situated within the 30 Years of Platform Arts exhibition.
Studio Convos offers space for local practitioners to discuss, analyse, and reflect upon their individual creative practices in a warm, nurturing environment.
The definition of ‘creative practice‘ is open-ended—it may be an artwork in progress, an exhibition you wish to review, a book you’re struggling to comprehend, a piece of writing that doesn’t flow, or you want to have a general conversation about your creative practice.
Simply put, Lucy and Samantha provide the space and a cuppa; you provide the content and conversation.
The first session on SAT 31 OCT will take place in the After Walter Hopps exhibition.
The second session on SAT 14 NOV will take place in the 30 YEARS OF PLATFORM ARTS exhibition.
For both sessions please meet our facilitators at 60 Lt Malop St, Platform Arts.
Both Lucy and Samantha are Platform LAB alumni and maintain a studio practice in Djilang/Geelong.
This event is part of Platform Arts’ anniversary program, 30 Years of Platform Arts, running 22 October to 12 December.
