Learn how to make simple, hand-bound books!
Instructor Kate (she/her) will teach students the steps from conception to completion of a hand-bound notebook or sketchbook, using upcycled and donated materials and tools!
In this workshop, we will:
Learn about bookbinding terminology, history, and best tools for the job
Understand and practice the coptic bookbinding method
Design and complete gorgeous, functional, custom notebooks and sketchbooks!
3-6pm | Ages 10+
Youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Youth over 16 must have their ticket purchased by a parent/guardian.
All tools and materials provided.
