    Come along and meet directly with employers who are hiring international students. This is a great opportunity to liaise directly with potential employers to gain a deeper understanding about the skills and requirements they are searching for with future employees.Β 

    SEEK Masterclass: Accessing the Australian employment marketplace as an international student

    This Masterclass is designed for you to understand the Australian job market. You will pick up the stark differences of getting hired in Australia, and will help you identify opportunities for international students. Through the masterclass, you would appreciate how you can strategically start your career through accessing jobs while you are studying and after your studies. You will also know employment platforms that you can use to look for jobs, including using #NSWJobsConnect within SEEK.

    SEEK Masterclass: Writing an impactful job application

    Through this Masterclass, you will gain tips in writing an impactful application. Stand out from the crowd by using effective job application techniques, including writing your cover letters, and presenting yourself through your resume. Build a standout application profile that employers could access, and easily apply for jobs using your SEEK profile. Get firsthand pointers from recruiters how they assess application documents.

    SEEK Masterclass: How to ace your job interview

    This Masterclass will prepare you for a successful job interview. You will be given practical yet important tips that will help you be comfortable and confident, but also effective in communicating your points to your future employers. Hear from a NSW employer what they look for when they interview job applicants.

    Study NSW Pitch Event: Entrepreneurship Change the Game ChallengeΒ 

    Throughout April and May, international students had the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills and to further develop their entrepreneurial mindset, skillset and toolset. Finalists from our Change the Game Challenge (Entrepreneurship Program) are now invited to pitch their ideas during the Study NSW Careers Expo for International Students. Their pitches will showcase the work they have undertaken over the past six weeks.Β 

    Study NSW Pitch Event:Β Business and Community ChallengeΒ 

    Participants of the Study NSW Future Leaders will be pitching their business and community leadership solutions they've designed based on topics or themes given by their partner organisation. Working as consultants, they will walk through their strategies to win over their case study. You're invited to come and cheer them on as they propose the best version of themselves to problem solve.Β 


    Study NSW Volunteer Recognition Ceremony

    The International Student Welcome Desk is a flagship program allowing current international students to gain work experience and increase their employability skills by assisting newly arrived students to NSW. The Volunteer Recognition Ceremony will highlight all international students who have completed a set number of hours as student team leaders and volunteers, and will receive formal acknowledgement for their achievements, contributions and efforts.Β
