Student wellbeing is extremely important for us here at Study Tasmania and we thought, how can we make wellbeing cool?

Introducing Chief Confidence Hacker and Human Behaviour expert Anita van Rooyen, who has taken the challenge of sharing some tools in this space. Anita is going to spend the month of September with us helping our students build confidence to take on the world.

Wed 8 Sept, 5-6.30pm (AEST) - Making Confident Decisions

Making decisions is easy! said No. One. Ever... But decision-istas don't have special magical powers... they just know the right questions to ask to make confident decisions every time... no matter the situation or decision. Learn:

The 2 step decision making process (yes, you really can make good decisions in only 2 steps!)
How to keep motivated once you’ve made your decision about what you want to have (so that no matter what happens to get in your way, you’ll make it happen)

Wed 15 Sept, 5-6.30pm (AEST) - Finding the Bright Side:

It’s easy to feel negative – after all our brains are wired to find scary stuff… which is why this session is even more important than ever. Together we’ll learn life-changing habits, tools and strategies that transform your life and inspire others to transform theirs too.

Wed 22 Sept, 5-6.30pm (AEST) - Fabulously Fearless:

Scientist & Nobel Prize winner Marie Curie said “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.” So, in this session we’ll be uncovering what creates fear and how we can move beyond it to create our Fabulously Fearless and positive future.

Wed 29 Sept, 5-6.30pm (AEST) - Finding Focus & Certainty:

How do you get your studies, life and stuff together when the world seems to be falling apart all around you? Great question, and that’s what we’ll be uncovering in this session – how to maintain focus amongst all of the noise, so that you can achieve what you want, easily and effortlessly.

Who is presenting?

Anita van Rooyen used to be the shyest person in the universe… Scared to talk or be seen, her confidence was at level zero. Over time she learned, created and tried all kinds of tools to boost her self-esteem.

Now as a human behaviour expert and the Chief Confidence Hacker, Anita helps students to build lasting confidence, using tools that truly work, so that they can make better decisions for themselves about their study, job, happiness, contentment and even life itself.

Her cheeky 'ginger-ninja' cat Saffron often joins in too...
