Stylist Series by Mr. Smith | Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Delivering an elevated experience for the Mr. Smith and wider hair styling community, the series is an opportunity to share, learn, and be inspired. Every event will feature a Mr. Smith Session Stylist, Mr. Smith Educator or Guest Artists invited to share their perspectives. 

This session will be led by the renowned James Ruiz, and will dive into the art of hair cutting.

James Ruiz is a Philadelphia–based stylist and educator with over 13 years of experience in education, editorial styling, and backstage at Fashion Week. His career has taken him to shows in New York, Paris, and Milan, where he has worked alongside some of the industry's leading session stylists. With a background in art and a passion for precision razor cutting, James brings a thoughtful balance of technical excellence and creative expression to every class he teaches.

Our class begins at 10 AM, with refreshments and light bites offered throughout the session. We’ll conclude at 12 PM.
