The SingularityU Australia Summit brings together the world’s top speakers and experts on exponentially accelerating technologies, with the leaders of today and tomorrow from Australia, to share the knowledge and insight we need to design our future in an exponentially changing world.

Why should I attend?

Within the next 20 years, 47-81% of jobs as we currently understand them will be under perceived threat from technology. The Committee for the Economic Development of Australia projects that 40% of Australian jobs could be automated by 2030 -- including jobs that have always been considered ‘safe’ from automation. Until we achieve a collective understanding of what exponential technological growth truly looks like -- and how it affects us all -- we won't be able to have the conversations that matter.

What do artificial intelligence, robotics, nanotechnology and crime have in common, and what do they have to do with you? How will technological advances affect our economy, our government, our education system and our healthcare system? Where are the disruptions coming from that we aren't yet talking about? What do these trends mean for Australia and for the world? What do we need to do to be able to face them intelligently? And how do we design our future rather than allowing the future to design us?

What will I learn?

You'll learn about artificial intelligence - but it's not a computing conference. You'll learn about self-driving cars and networks but it's not a tech conference. You'll learn about medicine and biotechnology - but it's not a health conference. You'll learn about the future of crime and the future of work but it's not a public policy conference.

We expect you to come away from the Summit with nothing less than a total paradigm shift about where we've come from, where we're going, and what's possible. Once you 'see it', you won't be able to 'unsee it'.

SingularityU Australia Summit Cancellation Policy

Should you be unable to attend this event, a substitute delegate is always welcome. A refund will be made for cancellations made in writing (email) more than 10 business days prior to the event; however, a cancellation fee of AUD$275 (including GST) will be charged. Regrettably, no refunds can be made after that time. Circumstances may arise where this event may be cancelled or postponed, and in those instances a full refund or transfer will be offered.
