Submission To The Wild: Letting The Words Flow
Description
Led by Fordham English alum, Jacob Myron Cerdena, this writing workshop hike will feature reading, writing, a meal, and a 3 mile roundtrip hike to a secret reservoir. During this workshop students will exercise writing by instinct and observation, with the goal to connect writer and environment. While writing can be used as a way to center and hold weight, this workshop is intended to guide the students towards weightlessness, instinct, and "big picture" writing, unlocked by a grand view of the mountains and a serene mountaintop lake.
Open to all Fordham students and alums
