MID YEAR SHOW 2022 – WORLD SHAKERS & RULE BREAKERS

What does it mean to shake the world and break the rules? We can look to history, people, music, art, and culture – or simply look at ourselves! Subsdance is excited to present our 2022 mid-year student showcase, so we can share what we have made of the year so far and show you what it means to shake the world. Expect a night of variety, including high energy & pumping dance performances, reggaeton, dancehall, Afro Beats, sass and booty, chair and heels, burlesque, belly dance fusion, drag, PLUS – performances from our elite dance teams The Queenz, The Vaudevixens, and making their DEBUT PERFORMANCE; our brand-new team The Wild Things!

Subsdance Dance Studio is located in Canberra ACT in the suburb of Kingston. Subdance provides a safe space and empowers its dancers in finding their “something”. That might be a newfound confidence, new skills, a new circle of friends, a dance family or a new, welcoming community. Fundamentally, we seek to improve lives and better the world one person at a time. We are proud and passionate in our love of dance and performing arts and strive to maintain a standard of excellence in our teaching, entertainment, and knowledge. We above all believe in the importance of integrity, genuine authenticity and personal growth. We seek to facilitate opportunity for positive experiences in these areas for our staff and dancers.
