Join Odyssey House NSW's Multicultural Programs for:
Substance Use Forum - Pacific Islander Communities
This event is in partnership with the National Drug and Alcohol Research Center (NDARC) and Pacific and Australian Community Service (PACS).
Alcohol and other drug related harm is prevalent in our communities.
We want to hear your thoughts about how this affects Pacific Islander communities and how we can tackle this issue together.
During the event we will have:
- Introduction from Rania Omar, Community Development and Projects Officer from Odyssey House NSW - Multicultural Programs
- The Importance and Intention of the Gathering from Bruce Pikula, Pacifc and Australian Community Services.
- Research in AOD from Dr Stella Settumba Stolk and Dr Winifred Asare-Doku, researchers at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre
- Discussion time
