Suburban Vibes | Reuben & Olivia DeMelo, Sam Coombes & Chloe Schofield |Fundraiser for TNT All Star Nukes

Suburban Vibes is thrilled to be hosting this super fun show, to raise funds for TNT All Stars Cheerleading team Nukes, to assist them in their travels to win at the Worlds Cheerleading Competition in Florida this April. 

Come and get cozy with us, under the stars on Saturday the 23rd March and catch Chloe Schofield, Sam Coombes and Reuben & Olivia DeMelo. This line up will have you captivated, with loads of laughs and possibly a tear and a dance, as they share their original music and real life hilarious stories. This is a super intimate show so grab your tickets early.

For those new to Suburban Vibes, there will be time to chat and mingle throughout the night however, we ask that whilst the artists are playing, you immerse yourself in their music and limit talking and getting up and down. Our crowd loves the intimacy of our shows so please come and listen, connect and enjoy what you don't get to see or hear at your normal music venues

Doors open at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm sharp start.

TNT ALL STARS

Cheerleading is the fastest growing sport in the world. TNT All Stars is the largest gym in Western Australia and are all about family and friendship. Athletes are trained by a five time Worlds athletes and have the opportunity to work with the best in the industry. 

Chloe Schofield

 Always finding the humour in trauma, Schofield’s EP, Street Dog, is a guide to making your way through modern life and giving it the middle finger when you’ve had enough. "Those who have seen me play before know that I’m a slightly awkward whiskey drinking performer, who likes to crack a joke and swears a lot to compensate for my nerves." Getting comfortable with the uncomfortable-ness of life and recognising when you need to try something new was the drive for Schofield to record her debut EP with a band. After releasing three singles as a solo performer, Schofield’s unique musical satire comes to life with the support of guitarist Benny Lazzaro, drummer Ryan Johnson and bassist Adam Springhetti. With smooth vocals, soulful harmonies, strong acoustics and folky instrumentals, Schofield was rightly given along standing ovation at Victoria Hall in March to a sold out crowd. With her raw and relatable lyrics, a more than gentle nudge to stop taking life so seriously and a voice that can hold a room, Chloe Schofield is one to watch. 🎶

Sam Coombes

19-year-old Sam Coombes is an up-and-coming coastal folk singer/songwriter. His storytelling method of songwriting portrays his love for the ocean, the southwest and his experiences with the people he meets. Predominantly sharing his music by busking at markets and on street sides, Sam has begun to branch out to ticketed events and weddings.

REUBEN & OLIVIA DE MELO

This husband-and-wife duo are all the feels. By day, Olivia is a schoolteacher of children with special needs and presenter on RTRFM, but by night she’s a musician. An indie-soul at heart with an eclectic mix of roots, pop-folk and chilled Sunday vibes, she writes lush melody lines, and poetic lyrics with vintage tones – her music is multi-genre with wide appeal.

Reuben is currently juggling between work and doing what he loves – hoping to find a balance. It should be easy but becoming a dad has shown him life through a different lens. The journey that life takes you on is often an unpredictable one and to him, this is exactly how a song reveals itself. Inspired by artists such as The Tallest Man on Earth, The Milk Carton Kids and Gregory Alan Isakov, he stays true to his eclectic tastes in Bob Marley and Tupac Shakur.
