Suburban Vibes is thrilled to host Rod Coote for his 'Blue Lake' Australian Tour.

Rod Coote is an indie folk singer-songwriter who has established a loyal grassroots community of listeners around his warm heartfelt music through playing live shows around Australia supporting  The Dreggs, Winterbourne Kyle Lionhart, Alivan Blu & The McCredie Brothers while also busking on the streets of Byron Bay Melbourne & having over 100K monthly listeners globally on Spotify alone.

As with all of our shows, you get to see these artists in a setting like no other and don't forget to pack your cheese platters and wine  as this is a BYO Food & Drinks show.

Doors open at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm sharp start.

For those new to Suburban Vibes, there will be time to chat and mingle throughout the night however, we ask that whilst the artists are playing, you immerse yourself in their music and limit talking and getting up and down. Our crowd loves the intimacy of our shows so please come and listen, connect and enjoy what you don't get to see or hear at your normal music venues.

Rod Coote is an indie folk singer-songwriter who has established a loyal grassroots community of listeners around his warm heartfelt music through playing live shows around Australia supporting  The Dreggs, Winterbourne Kyle Lionhart, Alivan Blu & The McCredie Brothers while also busking on the streets of Byron Bay Melbourne & having over 100K monthly listeners globally on Spotify alone. 

His music produced by Garrett Kato (Ziggy Alberts, Jack Botts, Kim Churchill) has accumulated over 4 million streams across Spotify & Apple Music through receiving airplay on Triple J, industry recognition with his songs added to editorial playlists such as ‘Coffee + Chill’ & connecting through new audiences through busking by St Kilda Beach in Melbourne and Byron Bay.

2024 will see Rod Coote playing his first headline Australian tour along the east and west coast before heading overseas to play shows & festivals in Europe to promote his new single ‘Blue Lake’, a sincere song about the realities of adulthood and aging alone. This is the first single featured on an EP produced by Garrett Kato, releasing later on this year. 

DAVID LAZARUS

Combining his heart warming voice & humble stage presence; South African born/Australian grown singer-songwriter David Lazarus, is one of West Australia's most exciting up-and-coming artists. David’s coastal/folk music is filled with heartfelt stories - drawing inspiration from his family (in particular his 5 sisters), love, loss & life on the road.  David has toured independently all over the globe and has supported the likes of Joshua Radin, Ingrid Michaelson & Matthew Mole. Over the past year, David has sold-out 4 headline shows in his home town of Perth.  David just recently recorded an EP with platinum winning producer Garrett Kato (Ziggy Alberts, Jack Botts, Julia Stone), which he is excited about releasing in 2024.
