Hello!

Thank you for booking into the Successful School Gardening workshop at Northey Street City Farm.

So that our facilitators can tailor the workshop to your needs, could you please complete this pre-survey as soon as possible:

Please aim to arrive around 8.45am so you can grab a cuppa, settle in and be ready for a prompt 9am start. When you arrive at the Farm, please make your way to the area underneath the office, where you will meet your facilitators.

Please bring:

• A notebook and pen to take notes

• Layers of clothes for warmth (we will be in an outdoor covered classroom)

• Your lunch which you can store in the kitchen fridge. (Morning tea is being provided)

• A water bottle

• Hat/sun protection/weather gear if required

• Please wear fully closed-in shoes and warm clothes

• (If relevant/ you can) a map of the part of your school where your school garden is or might be - you can use Google Earth for this. A rough map will also be fine.

Transport Options:

We are at 16 Victoria Street, Windsor:

• Bus – The Royal Brisbane Hospital busway is a 5 min walk from Northey Street, walk downhill and past the BP station, Northey Street is the first street on the left

• Rail – The Farm is a 10-minute walk from Windsor railway station and a 20-minute walk from Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley stations.

• Bike – Routes connect to the city and to the northern and eastern suburbs.

• Car – Limited parking is available in the roped off City Farm car park near the nursery, enter from Edgar Street. If your workshop is on a Saturday there should also be sufficient street parking available, though it can be busy with netball on nearby.

Cancellations: Please note that we only give refunds if at least 7-days notice has been given. Cancel through Humanitix, email (info@nscf.org.au) or call the office on 3857 8775. If we have to cancel an event, we will provide full refunds.
