SUDS Presents: Hakoah
Event description
Hakoah: a Verbatim Project tells the story of strength, courage and hope. Using the exact words of Holocaust survivors and soldiers who liberated concentration camp, it follows the story of various survivors and soldiers from the Holocaust and Second World War. The playwright, Madeleine “Mirri” Slavin has told this story and drawn dualities to politics today in the hope to show people how important it is to help one another, and the power of human connections. To quote Henry Oster, a survivor who’s story is told Hakoah, even in Hell, there is hope.
We are excited to announce that post show on the 19th we will be having a very special Q and A with Jill Klein, the daughter of Gene Klein who's story is told during the play. Audience members are more than welcome to bring note books to write down questions to ask after the show.
