About The Show:
Frankie Vos hates that her friends have settled for mediocre boys and mediocre sex. She’s also a lesbian. The only solution? A sex strike for better working conditions.Â
Yet, as the war wages on and Year 12 formal rapidly approaches, her enemy adapts and Frankie is pushed to her limit. But just how far will she go for her friends?
Based (very loosely) on Lysistrata by Aristophanes, Screwd! is a period drama set in a fictional Australian high school in the summer of 2017. Teachers are unprofessional, students are foul-mouthed and no one seems to do much work.Â
Content warnings: Depictions of sex, misogyny and homophobia, including the use of slurs, strong coarse language, strong sexual themes and content, drug and alcohol use, crude humour and bodily fluids.
